“She [Gaga] just heard something immediately, grabbed the microphone, and started flowing,” Watt recalled. “Once there’s this initial spark, she always runs to the piano to shape the song.”
Watt also played a key role in the creation of Gaga’s 2024 hit Die With A Smile, her collaboration with Bruno Mars. Unlike Abracadabra, this track was a carefully crafted duet, developed in an organic session featuring Gaga, Mars, and songwriter James Fauntleroy.

“All I know is that I was asked to play in some concoction of things that they have put together,” he teased.
